Revealed: Make-up For That Special Night Out- 3 Vital Areas To Focus On

Introduction
Needless to say, getting ready for that special night out involves a few steps such as styling your hair, picking out the perfect outfit and putting on makeup. And unknown to many, a few simple tips can make putting on the latter not just easy, but a fun endeavor. The perfect starting point is to focus on different areas of your face that you want to play down or emphasize as follows:

The skin
For that special night out, a fresh-faced glow is ideal. Therefore, avoid heavy foundations and powders that while great for the day are a tad heavy for nights out. Instead, you may opt for the dewy look which entails applying a light concealer where necessary, and then sweeping your face with a touch of blush on the apples of your cheeks besides adding a light translucent powder. Another way of bringing your skin to life when on a night out is to apply sparkle but regard has to be had in order to avoid overdoing it. Lastly, remember to remove oils on your skin and makeup from the day with a wash prior to the application of any makeup before evening out the skin with an application of moisturizer and toner.
Eyes
If you are in need of spicing your everyday look, then giving your eyes a dramatic look for a night out is one way to go about it. And there are a few different ways of making your eyes the focal point of your makeup while on a night out on the town. For instance, you could apply a shimmery white shadow to the corners of the eyes. While some may consider it a subtle touch, it adds a glint of sexy shimmer and opens up your eyelids. Darker shadows are renowned for creating a more dramatic look and using either a kohl pencil or a liquid eyeliner (black being traditional although colored liners add a fun twist) provides for a singular touch. Alternatively, false eyelashes may be applied either as single lashes or as a strip around the outside of the eyes thus providing, arguably, the most dramatic look. If you wish to go for especially dramatic eyes, it is advisable to keep your lips in a paler hue whilst keeping the rest of the makeup relatively simple in order to make your eyes the real focal point of your face and also not to appear too overdone.
Lips
If you wish to make your lips the focal point of your special evening, you are in luck as there are plenty of ways to make them stand out. To begin with, the application of lipstick with a night brush is, undoubtedly, the best way to make sure the procedure is clean and precise. This is especially so when mixing more than one color or applying a bold one. Besides keeping your lips looking neat, it prevents colors from mixing in the tube when creating custom hues. Another option of creating rich hues that are devoid of the traditional thickness of lipstick is a lip stain while gloss is also an alternative that can be used for a shiny sheen, sheer, or added to another color to provide a glossy finish. A smoky, dramatic eye can work well with a colored lip as long as the latter is done in an earthy, natural hue. For the former, ensure that gloss on the lips is kept to a minimum or use a neutral lip liner to go with this look.
