Fashion Trends in the 2000s

The new millennium ushered in a huge revolution in fashion for both men and women. And the last decade has passed the message more succinctly clear that even the older celebrities can regain their youthfulness in those tight-fitting outfits.




 The next-door-girl has not been spared either because she wants to keep in tandem with the trends.
 In the last ten years, we have witnessed tremendous turn-around in the way people dress. Fashion designers have also just exposed older fashion with new ones to produce unique blends with amazing quality.

 Celebrities have made record remarkable sales through their trendsetting nous. The following are some of the fashion trends witnessed over the last decade.

Hipster


Hipsters, by and large, have introduced a style that defies norms through using a combination of funk and grunge. Mostly, they are produced as skinny jeans which elicited widespread uproar among conservative men and women. The trendsetters include Ashlee Simpson, Michelle Williams, Sam Ronson, and Zooey Deschanel.


Juicy Couture Tracksuits and UGG Boots
This made an instant success thanks to Madonna's efforts to turn it into a fashion trend. The style and comfort made it an expensive outfit. The writing is on the butt and only the blind will fail to notice it. Its combination with UGG boots followed immediately. Notable trendsetters are The Kardashians, Ashley Tisdale, and Jessica Thompson.


Pants Free Style
Though it is a new trend, it is slowly gaining momentum - particularly the celebrities. This semi-nude attire has become a common brand with Lady Gaga as she struts towns with confidence. In as much as it makes the celebrities look hot on stage, it raises more questions than answers. Other celebrities trending it are Rihanna and Beyonce.


Boho
This Bohemiac chic trends was first introduced by the Olson twins. A style inspired by Hippie, it comprises of boots,loose jumpers, large sunglasses and flowing skirts. It has gained remarkable popularity over the decade.
